The French propeller manufacturer DUC Propellers has lifted the veil on their innovation last spring at the AERO 2018 show in Friedrichshafen, by presenting a prototype of rotor for multicopteres (VTOL, flying car,...).

Now, the company announced that its innovative branch dedicated to the design and the realization of helicopter and multicopter rotor is running at full speed

Very large investments have been required to finance 4 years of studies for the development of the blades, the production press and the series of qualification and validation tests (form control, mechanical analysis of tensile strength/flexion/torsion, vibration tests, tests of ageing fatigue,...).

The DUC Propellers company now offers catalogs products:

- Complete rotor for Multicopteres (composite blades and hub Rotor head)

- Helicopter blades (up to 8 m diameter)

- Full anti-torque rotor (RAC blades in composite and hub).

The company also proposes to study the realization of blades or complete rotor at the request of the customer.

Thanks to its know-how, the DUC propellers company is becoming a key player in the manufacture of rotor, ie rotary wing.

DUC Hélices opens a subsidiary in the US (DUC Propellers USA, Inc.)

DUC Hélices is moving to the USA with the implementation of its first subsidiary in North America. DUC Propellers USA is located on Sebring Airport in the center of the sunshine state Florida. The company provides sales office, maintenance and repair workshop and storage.

January 25, 2019 the new facilities greeted more than 200 guests during the grand opening, with welcome cocktails, french wine, buffet dinner and live concert.

A expert sales and technical team is mandated by DUC for commercial deployment of innovative and strong added value products. "Opening a subsidiary in the US is obviously strategic in this country which counts the most important community of pilots in the world. All specificities of this huge market push ourselves to be present on this territory." Vincent DUQUEINE, DUC Hélices and DUC Propellers CEO said.

DUC Propellers USA is the first international subsidiary opened in January 2019, following the new factory installation in Villefranche-Tarare Airport end of 2016.

Beyond these two facilities, DUC owns a strong international sales network, with key professional partners. This network covers more than 100 countries and 35 aircraft manufacturers.
